The Glowforge is a 3D laser printer that allows you to creates beautiful things. It’s a laser that uses a thin laser to burn through materials like wood, acrylic, leather, and many more. The Glowforge performs three different functions: Cut – the Glowforge cuts entirely through a material, Engrave – the machine cuts through a portion of the material, and Score – the Glowforge leaves a line across the material.
Glowforge is compatible with JPG, PNG, SVG, PDF, and other file formats. You can create Glowforge-compatible files from a variety of different software platforms like Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, CorelDraw, Adobe Photoshop and more. I personally use Inkscape.
All Glowforge 3D Laser Printers are quick to set up and easy to use. The Glowforge Basic is an introductory model, perfect for personal home use. Glowforge Plus is a premium offering for the ultimate personal printing experience at home.
